SPECIALIZED DENTISTRY, PERSONALIZED CARE
Welcome! We are a small specialty practice that prides itself on the highest quality of periodontal care, personalized to each patient. A Periodontist is a dental specialist in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth, and in the placement of dental implants.
We are passionate about our profession and fortunate to work with our referring dentists and their patients. We welcome new patients, always with the goal of helping them preserve their dentition in a state of health or helping reconstruct their smile with dental implants, contributing to their overall well-being.

DR. LAUREN SPEVACK

Periodontist
Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Lauren Spevack received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology (B.Sc), and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from McGill University. She continued her post-graduate training in Rochester, New York, at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health leading to a certification in the specialty of periodontology. She later completed an implantology fellowship where she received advanced training in prosthetically-driven dental implant treatment planning and therapy in the Prosthodontic Department at the University of Rochester. As a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, she is a certified specialist in periodontics and implantology.
Valuing the education of future generations of dentists, she is a Faculty Lecturer and Clinical Instructor at McGill University in the Department of Dentistry, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Periodontology Department at the University of Rochester, New York. She is currently the President of the Quebec Association of Periodontists.
Continuing education is essential in order to stay current in the ever-changing field of periodontics. Dr. Spevack is an active member of: the Canadian and American Academy of Periodontology, the Quebec Association of Periodontists, International Team for Implantology, Academy of Osseointegration and the Federation of Dental Societies of Greater Montreal.
Dr. Spevack employs cutting edge techniques and procedures in all phases of periodontal and implant therapy. Valuing gentle and ethical dentistry, she strives to do her best for the benefit of her patients.
DR. MARIA EL-HUSSEINI

Periodontist
Dr. Maria El-Husseini received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Montreal in 2014 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Boston University. She worked in private practice in Montreal for three years before continuing her post-graduate training in Rochester, New York, at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health to obtain a certificate in periodontology and a Master of Science in Dental Sciences degree. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a certified specialist in periodontics and implantology. She is also pursuing a Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. El-Husseini is known for her caring and gentle approach. She strives to provide thorough and compassionate care by utilizing the latest advances in the fields of periodontology and implant dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. El-Husseini enjoys hiking, cooking, and discovering new places while travelling.
DR. JESSIE FUOCO
DMD MSc FRCD(C) Dipl. ABOMP
Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Medicine
Dr. Jessie Fuoco received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2015 from McGill University. Having a passion for teaching, she then remained on staff at McGill as a part-time clinical demonstrator for the undergraduate dental students in the Oral Diagnostic Clinic as well as in the Multidisciplinary Clinic. Concurrently, she also worked as a general dentist in private practice. Dr. Fuoco then realized her aspiration of pursuing oral pathology and oral medicine, by completing her residency, along with her Master of Science degree, at the University of Toronto. Dr. Fuoco subsequently received her certificate of qualification by the National Dental Specialty Examination Board. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.
She is a member of the Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Medicine, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, the Federation of Dental Specialists of Quebec, the “Association des spécialistes en médecine buccale du Québec”, and the “Ordre des dentistes du Québec”. Her research interests focus on the diagnosis of minor salivary gland tumors.
When Dr. Fuoco is not busy providing comprehensive care for her patients, she can be found at the McGill Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, where she is an Assistant Professor teaching the undergraduate dental students about the vast and fascinating world of oral pathology.
Aside from oral pathology and oral medicine, Dr. Fuoco loves travelling, dancing, and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Fuoco looks forward to meeting her patients and providing them with personalized and compassionate care.
